Inmarsat FleetBroadband
FleetBroadband is the first maritime communications service to provide cost-effective broadband data and voice, simultaneously, through a compact antenna on a global basis. FleetBroadband takes your vessel into the IP era, but still supports the core voice and ISDN data capability of our existing maritime services. This allows you to ease your transition to IP – as and when you are ready.

TerminalsThree types of terminal (FB150, FB250 and FB500) with different performance capabilities will be available from multiple manufacturers. Both use stabilized, directional antennas, varying in size and weight, but are smaller or comparable with existing Fleet terminals. The whole system is designed specifically for the marine environment. |
