  • Call Stratos Customer Support anytime 24/7 by dialing short code 33# from your Inmarsat phone.
How do I make a test call to ensure my new phone is operational?
  • Call Stratos Customer Support by dialing 92# from the satellite phone.
What number sequence do I dial to place a call from my satellite phone?
  • All calls start with 00 followed by Country Code, Area Code and Telephone number.
How do people call me on my Inmarsat phone?
  • They start with the International prefix for the country they are located in followed by an ocean region code and the satellite phone number.
What is an ocean region code?
  • They represent the Inmarsat Satellites that provide coverage. There are four codes:
    • Atlantic Ocean Region East (AORE) = 871
    • Atlantic Ocean Region West (AORW) = 874
    • Indian Ocean Region (IOR) = 873
    • Pacific Ocean Region (POR) = 872
Is there one ocean code that covers all regions?
  • You can try 870 but this is not available in all countries.
Does my phone work from inside a building?
  • The antenna must be outside with a clear line of sight to the satellite.
Does my phone work everywhere on the globe?
  • No. The North and South Poles are not covered by Inmarsat. The Mini M works on spot beam technology that does not cover all places. Call Stratos Customer Support with your Latitude and Longitude if you want to know if your area is covered.
