There are two types of calling plans - Post-Paid and Pre-Paid.
- A Pre-Paid plan is one where you select the number of minutes you think you will use, and pay for it before actually using the minutes. Pre-Paid plans have various expiration dates, and different plans for Africa and Canada. Your airtime plan information is stored on a SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card. Minutes can be added onto the SIM card, if desired. Please refer to our Pre-Paid plan section for more details.

Note there are specific rules regarding the expiration dates and adding minutes to a card. Please refer to our SIM card rules page for more details.
- A Post-Paid plan in one where you pay for your airtime after it is used. It is a monthly account, similar to a credit card charge account. Please refer to our Post-Paid plan section for more details.
