A Pre-Paid plan is one where you select the number of minutes you think you will use, and pay for it before actually using the minutes. Pre-Paid plans have various expiration dates, and different plans for Africa and Canada. Your airtime plan information is stored on a SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card. Minutes can be added onto the SIM card, if desired. Please refer to our Pre-Paid plan section for more details.

NEW SIM card:
If you do not have an active SIM card provided by Satellite Phones Direct, we will provide you with a new SIM card free of charge. The SIM card should be inserted into your satellite phone. Satellite Phones Direct can then add minutes to the SIM card in increments you select by ordering with our New Pre-paid SIM Card Online form, or calling our office at 1-888-684-3323.

Active SIM card (Reload):
If you have a SIM card, Satellite Phones Direct can reload minutes to the SIM card IF:
  1. the SIM card was provided by Satellite Phones Direct, AND
  2. the minutes on the SIM card are still valid or have expired within the last 90 days.
Satellite Phones Direct can reload minutes to the SIM card in increments you select by ordering with our Reload existing SIM Card Online form, or calling our office at 1-888-684-3323.
